Prompted into flight.

A perfectly timed sneeze,

Caused by seasonal allergies.

The way light smears across wet pavement,

A couple pens’ random placement.

A throwaway comment thrown away,

A random word thrown into the fray.

A blink,

A breath.

And I think of something,

I start running,

I’m going,

Going,

Gone.

Prompted into flight.
