the proof is in the prose
and this is my proof that she loves me
only these words these proof now
words on a paper and she loves me
there was a springmaybeheat afternoon
after dinner a lightsoothe night when thought replicated
and we share that afternoon in prose in prose
painting proof in words she loves me
words untell lies and words be true
these words true to that she loves me
and things were still good between us
and things were still between us
and we embraced each other like we embrace truth
and we race to tell people that she loves me
proof is in the prose
she loves me in the prose
we were happy and the proof is in the words
she loves me and my proof is in the words
read for yourself that she loves me
having been happy from the moment captured in prose
having been in love in a moment in this moment
and were trapt in the prose and the burden is proof
on trial and the burden lies on trial
having been in love the truth is in the prose
having been in embrace never to disagree
proof is in the prose and we're in love
proof is in the prose in the words in us
look how happy our faces smile for the pen
in love daring not to sing along
i need you to sing along
why won't you sing along
and having been in love don't you dare not sing along
my proof is in my words
and this is my proof that she fucking loves me
