Propaganda

Matthew 9:37 New English Translation (NET Bible)

37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

Ripe for the plucking but fear on every corner

Satan has a hay day and truth mostly distorted

Propaganda slashing the mind of every mourner

As this tug of war is in every heart reported

Goodwill comes out of this but who can really prove it

If the world goes to hell who really will benefit

A song is sung through the ages of suffering without soothing

An audience of the blind who seems able to forget this

Life goes on despite all the problems and children are born to die

Some grow old none the wiser and some will exist thro a tearless life

Maybe all tears spilled today will support the question: “Why?”

And maybe the Creator of it all will join in our temporal cries
