Protecting Myself

"Because I love you"

I all starts with those 15 letters that I lost my big sister

That you think it's alright to hurt someone and say you love them to make it alright

What type of man hits someone, it makes you less of a man

Men should hug you and spend their time with you

They should cuddle with you while watching romcoms

They support you and build you up

They should comfort you in a time of need

They should not control who you talk to and see

They should not make you tell them where you are going

They should not make you "the woman of the house"

And hey should not leave bruises

It should be a happy marriage, and they coexist

They both make the decisions

They both come to each other for advice

There is trust between and they do not make assumptions about each other
