Proud to be an American

The Liberty Bell ringing loud and clear

Is the sound of independence

Reminding me that I am free.

The red, white, and blue of Old Glory

Waving in the wind

Is a symbol of freedom

Telling the world that

We are proud to be American.

The Statue of Liberty holds a torch

Lighting a beacon of hope

Calling all people who need help.

The bald eagle soars high in the sky

At liberty to fly anywhere he wants

Like the citizens of the U.S.A.
