Proud of Me

I tried a lot to fit in in the days of elementary,

up and down i tried to impress for what seemed like a century

Trips to the mall seemed endless,

always staying in with the new trends

All the name brands i just had to have

to be liked..to be loved..to be noticed

It wasnt until my first year of high school i realized i wasnt for this

This wasnt me, i couldnt be fake anymore

I had to be upfront withmyself..who was i?

Simple. I am me. I am Cassie. Diagnosed with anxiety.

Therapy. No dad, Cassie.

I am loyal, kind, generious.

I am outgoing, bubbly, and a little crazy, Cassie.

I am no good at math, chocolate lover, hot sauce adicated, Cassie.

I am a worry worm, cheer obsessed, and love to laugh, Cassie.

I am a fighter.

I am beautiful me.

And i am proud to be #nofilter
