Proudly Dead

The day it happened came rather fast,

I wasn’t proudly dead.

The things I knew and learned in the past,

Soon to be proudly dead.

I thought my world would fall apart,

Scared to be proudly dead.

One person came in to mend my heart,

Then I was proudly dead.

I then felt like I had enough,

Didn’t like being proudly dead.

My friends told me it would be tough,

I would try being proudly dead.

In this life you never learn how to live,

I still was proudly dead.

Now my life to Him I give,

I am proudly dead.
