A Provider

When all else fails, my provider is my lifeline.

My crutch I lean on when I am unstable.

My partner in survival, my only friend,

Has abilities that I cannot provide for myself.

Two is better than one, "so it goes",

And being very different,

We can accomplish so much together.

Why be stranded alone and lose my sense of humanity?

To keep my sanity,

To hunt our prey,

To keep me going when all hope seems lost,

My provider keeps me alive.

Because if I am left alone,

Then I stand no chance on this island.
