A Pseudonym
It means that I can become who I want,
An identity created in a flicker of thought.
I could be the leader of the free world,
I could be the queen of england,
I could be the dictator of a continent,
I could be you. I could make you pay.
It means that I'm protected.
I sit high in my nest, atop the world:
I can cause you pain, so much pain,
But with my pseudonym, I am all -
I am the world and all its people -
And that means that you can never hurt me,
Not ever again.
