psychic aftermath

let's assume that everything goes according to plan,

life's great and you're just the man,

you set out to be who you said you'd be,

you kept your word and didn't flee

everything's coming up Aces,

it can't be real, like trading places

this isn't the hand you were dealt

you kept it close to your chest

hid your secrets behind your belt

kept your nose down and did your best

these are the fruits of your labor,

step up and do you a favor,

never lose patience, never lose cadence,

march forward into the dark,

this is what sets you apart

faith in yourself can never waiver,

bathe the scent and taste the flavor,

freedom, success, happiness, victory,

of a life you built out of an inner symphony
