Psychology is the Key

We all came into this world with a brain,

with thoughts,

with feelings,

with a sense of consciousness,

But to express; That, that took time.

We grow up, we learn, and now I know!

At last I know that…

You don’t understand me

And I don’t understand me, but you see there’s this thing called psychology.

Things that seemed so clear and Oh so sincere are not as they appear.

The world has walls; Our nerves are small and they whisper in secret.

They know why we work and twerk and why these girl’s keep dating jerks

But I have no clue what’s in their minds

My mind is in a box, society is the lock, and psychology is the key.

Now we may disagree on the why.

The why we do this why we do that; The answer seems to change each time we step back

The more we decode the message in our minds, the closer we’ll get to a place and time

Where people understand

Where people accept that we cannot control all of our tendencies

When they plea insanity their not told that it’s bull; Then drowned in a lake and told their immortal.

In this new place in time we know the reasons for their crimes;

Or the reason that they’re fine and they just need a little help just as any other creature on this earth deserves.

I’m no expert on the brain.  I have one, but that doesn’t change that I’m biased.

The way I fix my problem won’t fix you.

It could fix your problem it’s just not always true and you have to understand that you need to do you.

People will push you to do the social norm. If you stay like you, those norms can transform.

Society is the lock. Psychology is the key.

And the only way to be freed, from these walls.

There’s a need for scholars to know how we think, how we learn, how we sleep,

Why we fight, why we judge, why we want, why we love, why we hate,

Why we choose to ignore the facts that we face and elate that we’re fine!

Just to hide and subside something anyone could recognize.

But no one wants to admit they’re not equipped to understand.

Ignorance is bland yet a comfort for the common man.

Yet what is common when people don’t address why their mind’s a mess?

Society is the lock. Psychology is the key.

And the treasure will set us free.
