Public service anouncement

The time has come Change is near Today we leave behind Nights of terror and fear Brung to this place With shackles and screams We've come a long way I must say Sitting in the back of the bus This we do no more Dr. King would have loved to see What was in store Heads were kept high Spirits were not crushed Lives would be changed History would be made We didn't use violence All we did was prayed Years went on and we have evolved My look at the problems We have solved From pain to passion We are here What once was a dirty window Now is clear Racism and segregation was once a big deal No more black and white sections Unity is real
