Pulling On Your Heart Strings

My flow's so deep You're drowning This is not the kiddie pool But I am clowning On your head I am pounding KNOCK,KNOCK,KNOCK Is there anyone there? I think not. You're blank Like a sheet of unlined paper But you're worn and tattered Like a couple of bad acres. Don't be tryin to get on me Cause I'm like Shrek I have my layers. You can peel them all off But I still won't be bayer Asprin is what I need Cause you've given me a headache I been on you for so long That you're flat as a pancake. Got your mind bent and twisted Cause you don't know what's coming next. I didn't for a while and now it's my "bestfriend' and my ex!! But I thank God because I'm blessed! With someone better than the last I"m so happy I don't have to date your sorry Let me stop before I have to blast you Into outer space Where time and movement get replaced. You're trying to speak your words but I'm just not hearin em. I'm looking at your face Thinking "I was delirious" I'm pullin on some heart strings Bringing out the pain Pullin on some heart strings Who's the one to blame? I'm pullin on your heart strings I'm tearing you apart Got you cryin Your rhymes dyin Cause I'm pullin on yah heart. Now you're hurt. Pushed face forward In the dirt. I don't care if it's not fair Cause it just makes it worse On you to deal with the guilt so painful and unable to be built in. And now you're lookin at me All sullen and gloomy I really don't wanna help yah Cause my flow's making you moody. But it's time for me to stop cause I'm Pullin on your heart strings bringing out the pain I'm pulling on your heart strings We'll never be the same. Pullin on your heart strings I'm tearin you apart Pullling on the heart strings Tuggin at your heart. It wouldn't be so hard If it never got this far Could've left you alone Could've stayed with my par. But like stoop-kid I stepped off the stoop. And like Helga I fell for a football head like you! I was crying for a while But that was that. Had to get over it it's a basic fact. That: You were not the one Never will be. I just had to believe "Hey there's no more you and me". I'm bringing up the past Now it's time for the future It's coming really fast But there's no need for a tutor. I'm planning all my life Got it flat out Put on paper. But there's tribulations and strife That could make it come a little later. It's not that big of a deal cause everyone makes mistakes. But this is the one I always make I'll be Pullin on some heart strings Pushin you in dirt. Pullin on some heart strings Making you feel hurt. Pulling on some heart strings Now I feel your pain. Pulling on my heart strings You don't have to hurt again. I end up getting hurt Every single time. That's my very reason for bringing out this rhyme. Started clownin Had you drownin Trying to swim But that's the very problem Cause you couldn't comprehend The words that I was spittin Were like heaps of hot coals. Eatin up your heart and tearin up your goals. I was tryin to break you down just to bring myself up. And now you're on the ground You had to give up. I told you I was deep As the deep blue sea. You should've listened You should've listened to me Cause I Pulled on your heart strings Brought out all my pain Pulled on your heart strings Now I can be strong Again.
