when I meet that god, Or whatever deity that stole, Who or whatever that stole it all, My mom, My dads love, All my close friends, Those I truly found hope in, I’M GONNA MAKE THEM PAY, Toko is just a kid, Not someone in debt, Not someone to shoulder it all, So why did they lose so much, Why did she have to suffer all alone, WHY DID SOME DEITY FIND JOY IN MY PAIN, Walking down this path no kid should walk, Shouldering burdens no child ever could, But she didn’t turn cold and bitter, She didn’t harden to stone and ice, She just smiled and walked on, Accepting the reality she was in, Not crying, Not arguing, But giving the world this bitter sweet smile I hate, The smile that feels so utterly sad. -Kitsuko Dragonstar
