punctuate, disseminate, patina'd

"Oak trees branches,

Blue-black capillaries,

look like stretch marks against the grey 5 a.m sky."

Poetry let's me punctuate, disseminate information

from my brain to a screen, to someone's eyes.

"Copper roof, now patina'd

Green against the brick-chalk red-dusty"

Poetry is subtle and powerful-I use it as a way to give thanks and to pray

"My own eyes protest-so heavy, I am unable to type sensibly. I fall asleep, still typing, until I begin writing my dreams.

Let me sleep!"

Poetry, I make it what I want.
