Puncture

Deep bruises, cuts, and marks,
A friend or enemy lurking in the dark,
Open your eyes and beware,
Your closest friend could be your worst nightmare,
Learn your frienemies inside and out,
Deep black holes in their eyes burn out,
Do not trust everyone you meet,
Your closest ones can kill you in your sleep,
Watch with the eyes in back of your head,
If the gun is there they'll make sure you're dead,
Red eyes in the dark it can be,
Learn to expect the blade you can't see

I am an artist and poet who loves being both equally. I've been an artist longer than a poet and once I found poetry it became a part of me just as much as art. When it comes to using the two and bringing them together it creates a covert masterpiece that allows me to be creative and never worry about conforming to society or to the expectations of anyone in the world but my own. It allows me to say who I am without ever saying a word, art and poetry create my voice when I can't seem to find one.
