The Puppet

Someone once asked me why I don’t speak It’s because I have nothing to say. Put words in my mouth and I’ll speak them. Ignite fire in my heart and I’ll love. Make me your puppet and I’ll do as you command. Tug at my strings and I’ll dance for you. But, only for you, my puppeteer, Only for you will I dance, Only for you will I speak your coveted words, Only for you will I love. I submit unto you, my puppeteer, I’ve always been loyal to thee. I’ve done as you command for many a year, but it’s time you cut my strings and set me free!
