Puppet Clouds
The dragon has been slain
My wings taken away
All in vein
I confess today
For my now crumbled heart
Thought it didn’t compare
To the dark
But once chosen heir
Of the throne next to mine
Woven like vines
He doesn’t know he is tinted
He doesn’t know he is pure
He doesn’t know he is good
For how could that occur
With those puppet clouds
Clouding his mind
Telling him he is a friend
While he blinds
I dote on thee
I admire thy
I love you
Sincerely Princess of the Sky
Do not let those clouds
Form into fog
Please do not allow
That much wrong
I could not bear
To see you in haze
And wear
That plague
I am still the princess
But you are not the heir
Until you can turn those choking clouds
Back to air
