Puppet Master
A perfect fall day
Why did I sit inside?
If I would have gone outside, things would be different today
The little girl inside slowly starts to fade away
Was I ready to change so fast?
You took the only little bit of happiness I had left
Every day I see you
Control is your game
You were pulling all the strings
You became my puppet master
As time went by I found ways to numb the pain
At that point you had me right where you wanted
We shared a secret to the grave
A sickening game
A puppet for life
Slipped into a darkness there is no light
My soul shattered
Heart crushed
Faith vanished
Just a lifeless puppet
Even when you’re gone, your still there
Pulling all my strings, will I ever get away?
My dreams turned into nightmares
You robbed me blind
Took the one thing I had left to give
Without permission, you said it was rightfully yours
You’ll always have my strings
Controlling my every whim
I can’t stand on my own without you
You are my puppet master
