Puppeteer

It’s funny how

We know words can

Hurt

But we use them

Against each other anyway

It’s funny how

We know that there’s

Distance

But we use it

As an excuse every time

It’s funny how

You tell me about

Loving

But you’re too afraid

To actually fall

How long did you think

You could string me along?

Do you really think

I’m that naive?

Go ahead and tell me

That you need me

Tell me your

Pretty Lies

Let’s find out who

The real

Puppet Master is

I guarantee that

It isn’t you
