Puppy's First Bath

Pop, splash. Bubbles overflowed the ceramic tub as I scrubbed At the little white puppy’s lamb like fur While she pounced amongst the sea of bubbles. Pop, splash. She jumped out and shook Not waiting for her towel She darted outside through The doggie-door Leaving a trail of water behind. Pop, splash. It is time for a new Bath.
