PURE

I never thought too much of your embrace

A child unaware of his mother's love

Notheless, a smile on your face

Joy and freedom like a pure white dove

So as you lay on the cold, marble floor

I lay in wait, tears storming down my eyes

The restroom warped around us through the core

Ephemeral love, drowinging with my cries

Six years have gone, and still, I reminisce

About your face, a face of utter bliss
