Pure Beauty

I like to believe that I am growing up, Maturing more at the end of everyday With the more I see, the more I will understand I do not long for childhood anymore Nor for foolish teenage years I have no desire to be like Them I am ready These are the days I question What fuels Their inspiration? Why does it seem that my passion is not of everyone else’s? How is it that my guiding light is vastly distinct compared to Theirs? I am independent I am able to engulf myself within my thoughts Reside for days, alone, beside myself I need no one I need no one I hold the power to see the world Quite different than Them, I presume Today I am in love with the world Tomorrow I am open to the unknown grandeur I sit in a state of philosophical depth People surrounding, yet I need but nobody Music filling, notes winding in from each ear The cold seeping in feels new and fresh, almost raw I am able to turn my head and see the world outside a single window Beautiful beyond belief Pine trees are the clouds of Earth’s surface Flourishing with gentle green needles The snow sprinkled perfectly around each curve Each branch of each tree splitting off the trunk, As if pointing us to our oblivion It is as though He landscaped each acre Himself There are no flaws, no mistakes Everything is truly breathtaking Physically breathtaking Every breath allows for another heartbeat of exquisite pleasure Many of Them could find a high like this elsewhere Not I This is the life I love Many of Them would sleep this beauty away in boredom Not I This is what keeps me awake There are no other words This, Is pure beauty
