Pure Sin

3 months in
and it begins.

Addiction holds her within
she takes a puff of pure sin.

He screams words of hatred
and her body sheds tears of red.

Just starting and not far along
but still a failure of a mom.

Tell her she fucks up
and says she's no good.

The baby isn't born yet
and she is terrified.

All she wanted was to love him
now she's dying inside

But the best thing he gave her
is the baby growing inside.
