Purity

Love is a powerful thing. A quick flash of lightning, unsuspected; a darting glance. It blocks and blinds and brightens the light, clinging to us with delicate fingers, digging its sharp claws into our very soul. Love builds but also destroys. From high up above the clouds— An explosion of heart and touch —To down below the stormy night Underneath a roaring sea of cotton. Hope flames, untouched, still gentle and free, Seeping into the deep darkness of chambers, Seeking fiery friendship and simple desire. Love; a thousand sails to her, for his one true love. Kingdoms perish; crashing waves. Love. The purest form is crystal clear. Purity remains.
