Purpose
Life; a privilege to us all, yet a curse we must endure. The drums of a beating heart circulate the rivers and streams of blood that flow through us all. As we dwell upon the ground in this world, our kind hungers for nourishment. This feeling of being famished is what creates the traits of drive and ambition. These powerful attributes are the reason for our chase for survival. Our survival, MY survival, can't be achieved without satisfying the hunger that sleeps within us all. The sustanance, the nutrients that will ultimately relieve us of our struggle...is purpose. This goal, this power, this opportunity is the ambrosia that keeps us moving in this realm. We wander aimlessly seeking refuge as we are blinded by society's false preachings of living. A man can obtain all the riches in the world, however, no amount of wealth could assist him in discovering his true calling. Whether it be a quest for knowledge, to be the best, to rule over land, to reach sainthood, to become a savior; our purpose, MY purpose, can only be grasped by the life I live and the ambition to give it meaning. Purpose, meaning, direction; every living creature is entitled to one. Although objects are given their purpose, we as human beings must strive to seize it. Do not go through life with wonder, anxiety, shame, lonliness, regret, and pain. A reason to keep moving awaits. Blood, it rushes through my veins. Breath, it fills my lungs. Sight, it gleams within my eyes. I am alive, yet, it does not mean I am living. I must go, purpose is waiting for me; it is waiting for us all.
