A Purpose...

I live because I tell the world it’s ok to embrace change and diversity I tell the world that I exist I tell the world that I won’t go away This is why I get up in the morning I tell the world to let me be heard For I shout but are ignored I will be heard, one person at a time I shall not be ignored no more! This is why I get up in the morning There is so much the world can improve on There is so much to see There is so much to wonder There is so much to ask why. This is why I get up in the morning I get up in the morning because of the world and all of its imperfections I live for imperfections I live for unpredictability I live for everyone and no one I live because I must I live because I’m me And no one can take that away from me I will be heard one person at a time Just one by one Till the day I die I will change the world By just being here And being me For that is all I can be I can only be me And that is why I get up in the morning This is my mission in life This is my mission statement For change is good, is vital for life And I’m here to take on the world In all its imperfections In all its unpredictability I am here
