My question to you is such a thing If you would sit with me and sweetly sing Of daydreams and loves I once had Before I grew up and found the world mad My question to you is as simple as this To not look at love as a hit or a miss To take ones hand and hold it tight And please realize life is not always a right My questions are endless and might drive you wild But do you expect me to apologize for faith like a child? Do you expect me to be nothing but mindless and easy? Because I would rather be a God fearing woman than sleazy. My question to you is a matter of why Papa why can't I soar and go where the birds fly? Papa why can't I catch all the tears that they cry? And explain to me why that little girl had to die. Do my questions make sense or should I slow down? Because I hunger for something that's more than profound. I search for your voice in the wind and the sun Something from the Father, Spirit, and Son. Should my questions be screened so they're politically correct? Hell no! Come listen. I'll make you a bet. Something you can't wait to eagerly get. So come stretch out your hands in order to receive A free gift to all who choose to believe. God's grace is enough, sufficient in all. Fall deeper in love with the one that they call I AM.
