Pursue Yourself

We are worried about what society wants us to be

We are never ourselves and we are never free

Scared to act on our dreams

Society playing us into their schemes

We are constantly under peer pressure

Never fulfillng our true pleasure

The true successes did not care what others thought

Martin Luther King Jr. pursued his dreams and changed the world through all distraught

You see, it is important to live life on your own terms

Because if you don't, you might as well be living in the dirt with the worms

I hope to inspire others through this simple speech

I want others to be great and use their full reach

So get off your seat and go do your thing

Be that heayweight boxing champion with his hand raised in the ring.
