Pursuit of Freestyle

I live my life so I can strive

to make a difference with an inference of the pursuit of happiness

in the american dream which gleams

brightly in the distance.

you're almost there you can almost taste it

live it feel it burning in your veins

you're not going back to where you came from

you can't go back to the same old ways

I scream it loudly in my head

I would much rather just be dead

then go back to the same old ways

No progression just stay the same

without movement there

lurked death

almost dead, I looked ahead.

I saw the light from above my head

it filled my whole entire soul

I am on fire

its burning in my veins

the dream in the distance,

I'll never be the same
