push back
the dust
the ash
the fall
the crash
the fog
the mask
see through
the past
warn, you
won't last
all you knew
was trashed
thrown out
you thrashed
in and out
you passed
but shout
when lashed
you doubt
you'll last
but when pushed
you fight back
they duck
you slash
it all happened'
in a flash
steel on steel
the swords will clash
it's more than you can feel
though it left a bloody gash
the sword won't always reveal
whats behind the glass
the master of the real
though the equal of contrast
it is always hard to conceal
the pain of someones past
but we're not talking about steel anymore
no this has always been about more
about being beaten to the floor
and you felt broken at your core
five thousand times, but whos keeping score
about the memories of gore
can't wipe memories clean
not always as they seem
sometimes much to keen
for someone thats only a teen
because the others just stare at screens
and belive in fantasy's
well stop, it's make believe
does anyone live in reality
well not really
not that i can see
I see drones and clones
and skin and bones
because you wanted to be perfect
well tell me, was it worth it?
you wanted them to see you,
well now they can't take your eyes of you
but thats not what perfect is,
perfect is when they can see your flaws and deal with it
this, this is different
like they're looking at you under a microscope
just to see if you can cope
well yes, but at the end of our rope
it's a cliff that they think is a slope
and now they try to take your hope
no, say no
they will always push you until you break,..or push back
so push back
