Puzzle

I AM a puzzle

I AM not tied down to

One word

One trait

One opinion

I AM a piece

Of everything

Put together

To make me

I AM my mother and my father

My brother and sister

I AM my teachers

And the lessons I AM taught

They are the pieces

That make my puzzle

Which makes me

I AM determined

Yet I procrastinate

I AM Positive Polly

And Negative Nancy

At the same time

My qualities only shape me

Not define me

How I use them

Defines me

And makes me

I AM a piece

Of my puzzle

And of another’s

Every word

My word

His word

Her word

Our actions

Shapes ourselves

Shapes me

I AM influenced

By my pieces

By myself

Others shape me

But I define me

I make me
