You took my joy in your hands

gave it a glance

and discarded it

like it wasnt good enough

like it wasnt pretty enough

like it wasnt enough

never enough

you scrapped up the girl i used to be with a few words

every minute was like you tore my worst fears from my tears and blood

you destroyed me

whilst being my "friend"

friends dont break eachother

and leave the other broken peices

you even swept the pieces of the board

i cant find all of them anyway

i think theres two under the couch

and one in the sinks drain

a few in our backyard

I wont go looking

because whats the use?

the peices dont fit right

and the colors dont go together

i feel gutted out

broken down

empty.

how do you find something that isnt there

how do you find an identity after the previous one was strung up at the gallows

im not sure

so i take your identity

i take others

bits and peices

clothes

laugh

sexuality

smile

style

talents

intrests

until im whole again

first thing you should know when building a puzzle

you cant make it look quite right without the correct pieces

so i will wander the earth empty

unwhole

until i find myself again

a hopeless search

i think ill check under the couch first-cc.
