Pépelŭ

Yellow ashes fall from the trees.

Budding flowers, but you wont look at me.

Pollen haze and swollen eyes from ragweed.

Disregarding me is like a bee sting.

Dandelions bloom in the April sun.

Pleasing you is easier said than done.

Plucking wildflowers one-by-one.

They’re all for you, but I receive none.

Overgrown lawn and grass stains on knees.

I’m forever yours, but will you stay with me?
