Quantum Mind

Human minds invented time.

They generated clocks with faces and hands,

Supervisors of the daily grind.

And they molded themselves to the tune

Of their perpetual 24-7 term.

Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock.

They constructed their circadian clock.

But they are not gears and clicks.

Thay are zaps of random chaos,

An endless stream of somehow connected ideas

That, for the most part, never make it out of thier mouths.

The mind doesn't stay in line,

It breaks out of the box,

It doesn't care for the seconds, the minutes,

The hours, the days.

But they hav anbushes themselves with deadlines.

I do not care about their so-called organized design.

On the biggest and smallest scales the universe is chaos,

And laws no longer apply.

My thoughts are the smallest,

And sometimes the biggest.

They never seem to be in between.

The laws do not apply.
