Quarantine

Summer nights

Everything is bright

Birds chirping sun shining

Kids dancing and singing

A stream of fear blew ahead

It was an unknown enemy that made many dead

Too many innocent lives lost

Everyone hung on to life and fought

Despair and pain

The only two things in the game

Hard to keep calm

Cant even hold each-others palms

Social distance is the way to go

Dont you know bro?

Throw away your egos

Dont keep any foes

We all have a common enemy

Humans need to work in harmony

Give each other space and love

Spread peace like the dove

Fighting and striving for every breath

Until its time for death

Times were good before all this

We took for granted our bliss
