the queen

dear love

i stand at the edge of the void

if you could only see me now!

if you could only see me now

a queen without a crown

a queen ready to drown

i am tired

tired of these lies

tired of what you have done to me

i am a queen

a goddess

brought to her knees

few are stronger than i

yet i am made weak by just your name

i stand at a precipice

i am ready to jump

look at me now!

look at me now

are you proud of what you have done?

i am done

i am through

i will be stronger than you

i am stronger than you

you cannot hurt me anymore

you are nothing compared to me

you may be strong

but i am a queen

i am a goddess.

see what you have done to me

hear my cries for you to stay, for you to go

if you could only know how you haunt me, how i am done with you

read my lips. it is all over now

open am i to kindness now

i am strong

i am beautiful

i am okay again.

sincerely,
me
