queen bee

This woman is a queen.

When she walks, she does not have a falter in her step.

She does not look down at the ground,

Shoulders sloping down.

Her head is high,

Shoulders back.

A look on her face that exudes power and self-known beauty,

She does not return the stares of envy

From the passing civilians.

She came here to win.

She is not here to succumb

To the old-fashioned rules of society.

She is here to break rules and trail blaze

A path into the unknown.

For the young girls who think they’re not good enough,

For the young girls afraid to say how they really feel.

She is here to be a leader.
