Queens


To the queens who came before me,

when that crown was placed on my head,

I knew I must make you all proud.

I will be representing an organazation, 

a county,

and myself.

I have not touched the people,

the people have touched me.

At the community dinner,

I felt like I could have done more,

but they thanked me for my heart.

At the state competition, 

I wanted to make my county proud.

Although there was not a new crown given,

they still showered me with love.

For this,

I am forever grateful.

I will continue to shower the rest of my county with love,

as your

Miss Boone County 2017
