Quemado

I had no other way to

describe to you my pain

I don't think you will

ever be able to fully understand

but I can try my best.

This pain that I have in

my bones is

somewhat like when you're eating

a jalapeño

you eat it,

fully aware that it's going

to burn you

you eat it knowing it will hurt

but because it tastes so good

you don't care

you eat it and your whole mouth burns

you can try to

cool your mouth with

water and ice

but it will only help for a little while.

You eat it and enjoy the

time you have eating it

but you have to sit there after

mouth burning, eyes watering

and just wait the pain away.
