In quest of my “true self”

I love strolling about the streets all alone,

Go to different places I've never been,

Just roaming in my thoughts on my own

And breathing a lonely freedom in.

My regular, quiet, but interesting life

Pushes me out for a stroll once again,

And my “I” is dwelling in the constant strife,

But yet again, this stroll clears my brain.

I love watching the blustery nature at night:

Thunder, lightning, wind, heavy rain -

All this reminds me my inner world in a fight

To find my “true self” – that’s what I aim to gain!
