Questing Clearwater

Oh, What has happened here?
Where are we all headed?
I remember better times, my dear.
Times when the horse wasn't betted.

So, Lock your doors and stay inside.
They are still coming you know.
Better have a good place to hide,
Because from me, you'd be the final one to go.

For, my friend's down in the court yard,
And his widow is with him.
For she knows he's about to fall hard.
Though he's committed no sin.

So, I ask for this one favor.
I hope there is someone to lend an ear.
Always value what you savor,
And continue to fight for it here.
