The Question

Have you ever had a burning question? One that drives you so crazy that you can't think of anything else, or do anything else, or want anything else, save an answer, a knowing, a reckon? The drive to find a solution the clear in the pollution the search that will lead you all over like looking for a four leaf clover. Well men, I'm sure many of you have the same question as me, Do chicks dig poetry? If it's an answer you want to find, you'll have to look into the female mind. It's a scary place, a dark abyss, with no blueprint only a sprawling crawling maze. What do women want; chocolate, flowers, a kiss? Attention, space, or a loving gaze? Or perhaps something more, or perhaps something less? Something simple, or maybe complex? Ugh it's a mess, I just can't see, Do chicks dig poetry? And what is poetry, is it expression? About two paths and the life changing procession? Or deep thought and contemplation, a country and captain, and their relation. But what do girls think about this? Can a poem make their hearts warm like tea? Does the written word lead to endless bliss? Or another case of, "It's not you, it's me." This is something I can't leave be, Do chicks dig poetry? So when it comes down to it, will it pay to be a poet? And when it finally comes time, can I make you mine with my rhymes? Well I'll say what I say and carpe the day anyway- so now when I take a survey, with confidence I can relay: That judging by the way these chicks are staring at me, dammit the answer is plain to see! Chicks do in fact dig poetry.
