Question for my Mom

A Question For My Mom....

"IS BEING GONE THE SAME AS NO LONGER HERE?"

When you are gone and they lower you into the ground
Will my concept of love be lost never to be found?

Whether you go to Juma on Friday wishing to be devout
or stand in the pulpit on Sunday with the Spirit of God
forcing you to shout. No example or proof I can find
has ever been likened to yours when it comes to speaking your mind.

You learn from your environment as it nurtures your growth.
What can be more fertile than the love of a mother for her child because as it nourishes it enhances them both.

"IS BEING GONE THE SAME AS NO LONGER HERE?"
It can't be, but as long as I have you I will cherish you dear.

"IS BEING GONE THE SAME AS NO LONGER HERE?"
Well if the essence of life is in its quality.
Then anyone who has felt the presence of God
knows that "NO LONGER HERE" has never been a reality.
