A Question For Tomorrow

Dear Future Self,

How is your health?

How is your wealth?

Are you still the anti-social stealth

That expects others to talk for himself?

Are you still trying to make all the same games?

Still stuck thinking of infinite worlds to get lost in all the same?

Are you still doubting your skills as lame

And that you deserve no fame?

Did you finally go for the girl

And give life a whirl

Or are you still typing those stories where everyone’s sanity unfurls?

What do you dream about these days?

And how do not lose yourself to those frays

With fantastical worlds where you seem to always know the way?

Are you still stuck looking to the future

Or are you still the dystopic consumer

Of a past that never happened and yet remains the tutor.

And most importantly of all

Despite the question seemingly small

Through and through it all

Are you happy?

Sincerely, Today.
