Questions

Questions

Why do we do this?

Is it out of curiosity?

Generosity?

Upset due to an atrocity?

Feel so out of place we run from it all lost in the city?

Feeling so lost while trying to be found.

Thought I had found my peace, but something changed and now I’m Bound.

Bound for a different path using new pronouns.

The pronouns that when they’re not used people drown.

Drown in emotions of being lost, then found, but broken and worn down.

Broken beyond repair, and worn down to a fault.

A fault that can lead to a knot.

A knot that a family will not understand, thinking their child was so happy but in reality was not.

Not knowing why their child died, one works too much and the other has been drinking a lot.

A lot has gone by while the sibling finally grows old enough to finally learn why their sibling has died; Leaving a certain darkness to reside, until we pass on from this lie.
