Quick Sand

I am one that runs on quicksand

Whom refuses to be pulled by the sand grands

Stand to unjustly things

so I sit instead

or rather just lie in bed

and just watch as the time pass by

and with these two eyes

as you hurt instead

I lie in a bed

and cry myself to sleep

with the pillow muffling my weeps

I keep turning the hourglass

like it runs on a certain beat

I watch everything repeat

Time keep slipping away in the quicksand

My heart was given to too many hands

Now I stand and for the first time understand

while still lying in that bed

I wake up and see

what was truly before me

sand that was up to my cheeks

I can barely feel my body heat

My eyes saw only them

The things that were broken

I can’t turn that hourglass anymore

Time has run out

I keep sinking

There’s no use to try to break free

I am hopeless

I am in that hourglass left with words unspoken
