Quiet
I have never been the class clown or the person everybody around school seems to know. I don’t need to be.
I don’t strive to make my voice louder than everybody else’s just to feel that my opinions are heard.
I don’t mind a moment of silence by myself when I am surrounded by others more outgoing than I am.
I am quiet.
When I sit in class, I learn more by absorbing what others have to contribute to the conversation than when I present my own arguments.
When I don’t participate in class discussions, it doesn’t mean I’m not involved in furthering my education.
Hiding in the back of the room, I can form my own thoughts about the issue at hand and enlighten myself in the way I please.
I am quiet.
I don’t believe that proving myself to the world is necessary; I am content knowing what I do and using the intelligence to make myself happy.
Life isn’t about pleasing or being better than others; it’s about being content with what you have.
Many people in the world express themselves openly, but my uniqueness stems from my preference for inwardness.
I am quiet.
Quiet people like me have to make do with how others nearby perceive us.
The loud, showy people will never consider our opinion.
This isn’t because they are insensitive to our thoughts; the people with the resounding voices have the job to intrigue others with what they have to say.
Knowing that we are not willing to spill our thoughts, the outgoing ones will stick to their own conversational contributions.
Neither the hidden or outgoing ones have the advantage; we all have our own weaknesses.
I dwell in the undisclosed sanctuary because that is where I know my opinion really matters.
I am quiet.
Although I am quiet externally, the people who truly know me see that I have more to offer to the world than just silence.
Get to know who I am and I will make your life more entertaining than you ever thought possible.
I am quiet, but that doesn’t mean that I am not interested in sharing what I know with the world.
