A Quiet Difference

See this wholesome crowd

Tangled up, locking of arms

A new revolution occuring

Spoken words are becoming louder than a lion's roar

Trying to make a twist in this racist world

Trampling on the pavement while lasting out

Like a little kid's desire for candy

Protesting against discrimination

wishing for no more devastation

They're like warriors on a battlefiled

After the fight coming back a hero in some way

A star pupil that person is right there

But look a little closer

Back home Venom slithers out of their mouths

Paparazzi and reporters aren't knocking now

Joking and teasing are still said everyday

The words give the punches to the heart

For some reason the words and the name calling will never be noticed

You talk of making a huge difference up there

Well you just tore the lock of arms down here

So let us start down here where the little things will grow and grow

Please, I want to let you know

It doesn't matter how loud you scream or shount above

Because it's easy to join the band wagon of love

But its hard to live your own words daily

Showing your morals and standing up for what seems of nothing

Influence and change does not always happen through a microphone
