Quiet Escapes

Explore the misdeeds of a mistress, The misfit's textures displacing due to dope, Escaping bondage with tonic emerald bonnets at every instant, The way the youth falls down the slope, I write to reconcile with sanity, So that I won't twitch if they see me through their scopes, So many of 'em lost their fight with vanity, And found the building blocks of tragedy as their newest hope, That's why I defiantly write to steadily release my silent riot, Psychiatrists would say that that's the better way to cope, So I religiously push my pen 'till they're all pious, Written word, you are my mistress... and my dope....
